Electric Aggregation Program in Green Township
Letters from Duke Energy Retail will be sent out to 12,000 eligible households in Green Township on April 4th. These Opt-Out letters require NO response if you want to be part of the Green Township Electric Aggregation Program with Duke Energy Retail at 5.45 cents per kilowatt hour for 2012 and 5.2 cents per kilowatt hour for 2013.
Approximately 4,000 households, who are currently with Duke Energy Retail, will receive a letter that allows them the opportunity to Opt-In to the lower rate of Green Township's Electric Aggregation Program without any cancellation fee.
If a household has an individual contract, and is NOT in the Green Township Electric Aggregation Program, they will not receive a letter. Please call your electric supplier to discuss your options to switch to the Township Electric Aggregation Program.
If you have any questions please call the Green Township Administration Building at #574-4848.
